COVID-19 Control Plan

2019-coronavirus

  • We have a COVID-19 Control Plan in place to keep our patients, our staff, and our community safe
  • Screening. We screen all visitors to our building for temperature and symptoms
  • Facial Coverings. All patients and staff at South County Internal Medicine are expected to have a facial covering at all times. If you do not have a mask, please ask the screener and one will be provided for you.
  • Social Distancing. We practice social distancing; we removed chairs in our waiting room and may ask you to wait in your car until the provider is ready to see you. Signs on the floors indicate six (6) feet of separation; plexiglass shields were installed to protect our staff and our patients.
  • Hand hygiene. We installed touchless sanitizer dispensers in our waiting room and at the front desk. Please sanitize your hands before going in to see the providers.
  • Cleaning. We have an active cleaning program in place to reduce the risk of transmission of infectious diseases. All high touch services are disinfected every four hours. All patient equipment/surfaces are disinfected after every patient encounter.
